ok after seeing the movie i don’t think this is a bad assessment, but i don’t think the “unfair” aspect is important. I think it’s more of the whole zeus’ law thing that they repeat throughout the entire story (and this is without getting into spoilers ofc)
I don’t think that’s what the movie is saying tbh. I think it’s less about guilt over sacking Troy and more about guilt over the way he did it. His whole thing is wanting a fair, honourable fight (e.g. plucking the bow before hunting). Trickery goes against that ethos.
