The amount of energy spent in #ProofOfWork is proportional to the expected reward ! Faster/Slower hashing algorithms do not make any difference.

Sono bergamasco e non mi sento testa di merda ... sto in casa e faccio il mio dovere. Qui non si tratta di bergamaschi o meno ma di COGLIONI o meno (non creda che nelle altre città sia diverso)

Quite inaccurate. Yes BTC uses 2 SHA2 for each round. Period. ETH uses 2 SHA3 rounds for each round too *and* among them there're 64 accesses to DAG chunks which have been previously SHA3'ed. So this makes 3 SHA3 vs 2 SHA2.

#ProgPoW proposal is undergoing serious analysis by @EthCatHerders. There is no planned fork for ProgPoW. People claiming it will happen on block 7800000 are deliberately lying

#ProgPow to favor Nvidia and penalize AMD is simply bullshit. Most problems are in AMD/OpenCl compiler. AMD/ROCm is fine.

Block chains that have off-chain governance through twitter followers weighted voting create even worse oligarchies.
