I've only used mastodon for a week. My account just got suspended for: "Being a capitalist" I am not sure what that means. But I guess I can fix it by sending some moneros to the server owner? The Fediverse is not very welcoming.

A man who stole $10B, @SBF_FTX just got interviewed, portrayed almost as a victim and got an applause at the end Still free and fine. Aaron Swartz, who downloaded academic journals to share with the world got $1m in fines and 35 yrs in prison. This lead him to take his own life

AWS is down and then the internet stops working. But the blockchain, it never goe ... wait a minute. Scratch that. This sector is a joke. Everyone preaching decentralization and censorship resistance but in reality ... it's all 100% reliant on the cloud.

It was 8 years ago today, we launched #ethereum from a small office in Waldemarstraße 37A in Berlin What a journey its been since then? It became the most widely used cryptocurrency network, switched to PoS and spawned many alt-L1s and L2s 🦄Excited for what the future brings!

It was this day 10 years ago, 30th of July 2015, that we changed the world forever. We were a small team of hackers in an office in Kreuzberg in Berlin and we had just launched the @ethereum network. The rest is history. Looking back at the last 10 years, I am excited about

Our brother @alex_pertsev has been in prison for 103 days. Today a Dutch court, labeling him a flight risk keeps denying him a fair trial and asked to be kept in prison until 2023/02/20. Another 90 days. In total 193 days in prison without a trial for ... writing #opensource

A really serious issue is currently unfolding across most hosted crypto frontends. There is a supply attack on a popular connector, the @Ledger connect-kit. It has been infected with a drainer, which you can confirm by deobfuscating the code. Be extra vigilant!

I don't understand the American justice system. Steal ~10$B and cause people to kill themselves -> 25 years Download academic journals from MIT to share with the world -> 2 counts of wire fraud and eleven violations of the CFAA (~max sentence 35 years). Remember Aaron Swartz
