A stressful weekend, so I decided to go on autopilot and mindlessly work on something relaxing. Here's a WIP of one of the many tanks in the Marin Beach Aquarium, where you'll donate fish you've caught. My hope is that it'll be as fun to explore as Animal Crossing's.

WOW, came down to the wire (literal last minute, even!), but we did it! our massive stardew valley 1.5 is out on PC and i'm excited to see everyone experience all of the amazing new content!

My girlfriend and I bought city bikes this year, which led to my decision that I absolutely needed to add a bike to my game. Will they be customizable with unusually expensive addons? Only time will tell.

I teased bike accessories, so here's the attachable Bike Basket. It gives you a little bit of storage to lug things around. If you collect an item you don't have inventory space for near your bike, it'll automatically be placed in it !! (Still coming up with a game title, sorry!)

As a fan of the Rune Factory games, I thought the "BTW..." menu was a smart way of adding more interactions to characters without making just talking to them feel cumbersome, so I've done something similar in Sunkissed City!

I spent a lot of time this week on stuff that's not really easy to showcase (improvements to gameplay systems, polishing and expanding the world), so all I've got to show off at the moment are new flowers and cute little BEES that I hope will be visible after video compression :X

I've done a ton of work on the player creator menu this week, removing all of the old debug UI elements, and including a nice "grid" view that allows you to see/preview all of the available options for a feature at once !!

Worked a little bit on the farm animal movement! Baby animals, like chicks, follow adults, but also, if you've nurtured an animal's friendship high enough, it'll approach you when you get close and follow you around too !!

When I was working on SDV 1.5, I once prototyped the ability for NPCs to explore your farm (though I never finished the feature). In Sunkissed City, as you gain friendship with NPCs, they'll visit your gardens and if they join your little plant punk collective, even help out!
