Personal update: I left my job at LinkedIn Over the past 3 years, I had the opportunity to design and build one of the largest on-prem Kubernetes installations (350,000+ servers) from the ground up which is now running all of the company. I will miss it!

Advice to young engineers: Read a lot of code. Several more times than you write. Ideally not the code internal to company. Go find where the state of the art is, study it. Having worked in the docker codebase early in my career gave me a lot of skill boost long-term.

Past few weeks have been a mix of Stanford prison experiment, Squid Game, Prisoner’s Dilemma and Hunger Games. It will be studied in social psychology classes and business schools for years to come.
