After 3+ years, today is the day that my book โThe Worlds I Seeโ gets to see the world itself. It is a science memoir of the intertwining histories of me becoming an #AI scientist, and the making of the modern AI itself. All versions are now on Amazon a.co/d/fYKf74L 1/
Who is talking about #AI? And who should be included in this global conversation? Heading to eastern Taiwan to meet with a (large) group of mostly rural and aboriginal high schoolers to have a dialogue with them about #AI and more importantly, the future they should be part of.
AIโs next frontier is Spatial Intelligence, a technology that will turn seeing into reasoning, perception into action, and imagination into creation. But what is it? Why does it matter? How do we build it? And how can we use it?
Today, I want to share with you my thoughts on
A picture now is worth more than a thousand words in genAI; it can be turned into a full 3D world! And you can stroll in this garden endlessly long, it will still be there.
What is a really really hard problem to work on in #AI? My own answer is Spatial Intelligence - a technology that could empower and enable countless possible use cases in creation, design, learning, AR/VR, robotics, and beyond. Itโs a real honor that my cofounders @jcjohnss
