    bro really said:
Lincoln, Cuomo and Pritzker in the style of socialist icons with a red background
Rod Blagojevich, running for his second term as Democratic representative for the 5th District, parts of which abut the 9th, was a close observer of the primary.

“The voters had three solid choices,” he says. “J.B. Pritzker is, in my view, one of the most knowledgeable people on public policy issues, in or out of government.

“I think he was at a decided disadvantage because he’d never held office before and he’s very young and the fact that he comes from wealth was, ironically, more of a handicap than a help to him. That wealth creates certain prejudices.

“We are going to hear a lot more from J.B. Pritzker, because ultimately, in the long haul, quality will emerge, (as will) J.B.’s knowledge of issues and his commitment to those issues. This was a good first start and I think J.B. has a tremendous future. Remember, Abraham Lincoln didn’t win his first election and Mario Cuomo lost several races before he got elected. For J.B., this is only the beginning.”
