With each new round of funding, I've noticed a logarithmic decay in how loud a founder is about it.

Yes, investor updates take time. I certainly don't have a perfect record, but the benefits outweigh the effort. You'd be surprised the impact of sending even quarterly updates to investors and non-investors. At the very least, it's a forcing function for focus and determination.
It's been a wild ride building a search engine with @thealexgunn and team @shopdeft. A lot's changed since we started, but what hasn't is that we're solving this problem for ourselves. We want trustworthy search, and we're determined to make it a reality.
