The first @Tesla Megapacks installed at PG&E’s Moss Landing substation. Once operational (targeting 2Q 2021) this 182.5MW battery #energystorage system will be one of the largest utility-owned, lithium-ion battery energy storage systems in the world. 🔋

PG&E will open Community Resource Centers in several locations starting Wed 10/9 @ 8 am. They will remain open during daylight hrs only. Restrooms, bottled water, electronic-device charging, a/c seating for up to 100 will be available. Full list: bit.ly/2OGbk5B #PSPS

Thank you for your patience. Directed by CA's grid operator, PG&E initiated a power outage earlier this evening. Impacted customers are being restored, with full restoration expected by 11 p.m. No more outages of this type are planned for this evening.

#PSPS: Additional proactive shutoffs for safety will begin later this afternoon and into early evening in portions of these counties (see table). This phase of the safety shutoff also includes some parts of Mendocino and Calaveras not turned off this morning.

#PSPS: Early this morning, PG&E turned off power for safety to counties in phase one (approx. 500k customers). That phase is complete. If you still have power IN THESE COUNTIES (see graphic) you will not lose power due to a PSPS.
