when i first started learning about crypto, i thought u all were so smart

The NYC crypto/nft scene is such a strange and honestly nauseating subsection of the community. It's more concerned with personal brands and clout rather than anything to do with the tech/product. I feel sorry for anyone whose entrypoint to crypto is this.

Hard to overstate Consensys' impact on the legitimacy of crypto as an industry. So many people came into crypto professionally through Consensys and got too hooked to leave the space, many of them going on to build extremely important projects. You can all thank Joe for that.

I find it weird how it’s now a meme to talk about sex/lack of sex at EthDenver when it’s a hackathon It’s alienating for those of the community who are there to gain exposure to the tech/actually hack. Keep in mind, EthDenver also has a high new-to-eth ratio. Not a good look IMO
