Join Vonage and Google Developer Groups in NYC & Brooklyn on a most excellent adventure where we totally code in the browser, squeeze into our TARDIS, and flue back through time powered by cosmic intelligence to make a Vonage phone call to one of history's greatest minds! Allons-y! ​Learn how to build an AI voice agent you can call. Using GitHub Codespaces, the Flue Framework, and the Vonage Voice API, you'll create a web application that places real phone calls to an AI agent for natural, real-time conversations. You'll work through a cutting-edge AI practice with Vince, and leave with material to keep going on your own. Topic: Loop Engineering. Bring your laptop. 7:30 PM — Open Build Time The core of the night. Tables, laptops, music, food. Work on your own AI project, pair up with someone you just met, or flag down a TA. Think embedded office hours inside a social event. Featured Workshop: Vince DiPaola Vince DiPaola builds AI systems and teaches people to build their own. Out of Brooklyn, he runs teamvince: corporate AI enablement, 1:1 coaching, and project-based consulting that gets AI work out of the slide deck and into daily workflows. He's shipped 45+ AI products in 2026, and most of what he teaches comes straight from that: the patterns that hold up when you're shipping weekly, not just what demos well once. Loop Engineering is one of those patterns. It's the upgrade from prompting to designing the loop an agent runs on; the cycle where it does the work, tests itself, and corrects before you ever see the result. Tonight he'll teach it hands-on.
