Directions
/dev/hack is located on the second floor of the Gelb Building, located at 4534½ University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105 (Google Maps, Apple Maps, GeoHack). You can drop the ½ if your map software does not tolerate the address well, which leads to the City of Seattle University Customer Service Center.
During calendared public events, the door will usually be unlocked or at least attended to. If the door is locked, use the doorbell button to let people know you're here. See the Accessibility page for information on stairs and other accessibility considerations.

By Transit
Public transit is the recommended way to get here, since parking can be hard to find and/or expensive.
We are 1 block away from the U District Link station, served by both the 1 Line and 2 Line. The station is also served by the following bus routes:
King County Metro: 31, 32, 43, 44, 48, 49, 70, 75, 79, 372
Sound Transit Express: 586 (Tacoma, weekday peak hour service only)
By Bike

Do not lock any bike you care about outside the space, especially at night. In the U-District, bikes and their unlocked peripherals can get stolen in very short amounts of time.
Bikes are stored primarily in the bike rack installed at the end of the kitchen, that can support four bikes. folks are very invited to make use of it.
Feel free to wheel your bike into the foyer during non-trafficked hours for temporary storage.
Carrying bikes into the space is kind of annoying, as the space is on the second floor and has a staircase to climb up it. The back door staircase is a bit shorter though, and if there are members in the space to unlock the back door is usable.
If you do not want to carry your bike up the stairs, U-District station has secure BikeLink lockers that you can activate with a BikeLink card (recommended) or with their app (not all locations available).
