Backstory goes here... Canto IX and Twining Threads spoilers. Currently a wip.

Broad strokes but Ryoshu's Canto in particular contains references to child abuse, animal cruelty, and sexual violence on top of the trigger warnings listed by Project Moon.

I probably won't be going into her history in-depth when IC since the details are hazy for herself as well, but let me know if you need to opt-out of anything.

Raised as an 'asset' for the Five Fingers, utilizing the blood of the Dihui Star and the tutelage of each Syndicate.
Assassin for hire, though she mostly dealt with unique cases offered by Syndicates due to her combat abilities and upbringing.
Suffered abuse at the hands of her Nursefathers and was effectively denied her own autonomy for the entirety of her life, no matter the 'love' they tried to give her.
Found Araya in one of the Thumb's backup cloning projects that used her own DNA
Learned to protect something once again. Her ward, her blood. A leash. A thread. Her sole obsession. Her reason for living.
Hacked her way out of the HOS, stored Araya in a place for safekeeping until she could return with help
Joined Limbus Company, wishing for the destruction of her birthplace so she could live with her daughter undisturbed

LCB accepts the invitation to the House of Spiders

Discovers her daughter is now missing...

...and ends up accidentally killing her after learning the terrible fate she inadvertently subjected her to

In her grief, nearly loses herself to become a perfect blade free of unnecessary attachment

But the last of her daughter's love manifested E.G.O. and resealed Arayashiki as the new scabbard, which can now selectively choose when to unsheathe and which memories to sever

Because she killed her daughter with Arayashiki, she no longer has memories of her with the same clarity; the sole thread of her obsession has finally been cut

She hopes to one day find that strand of affection again; no matter how finely the thread has been split, their lives remain entangled
