A workflow is the visual illustration of an integration process for automated and iterative execution. It is a process orchestrated to run a sequence of tasks such as running a program, sending an email, executing a SQL query, etc. The tasks are executed according to a predefined sequence, following custom logic that determines what path must be activated under specific conditions. You can also define what happens if a task succeeds or fails, route workflows using Boolean conditions, and nest other workflows or dataflows. Once designed, a workflow can be deployed on the server and scheduled to run automatically at specified times and frequencies.

A Collection Data Region is used for one-to-many relationships. For example, an order can contain multiple items, so a Collection Data Region is used to extract item details.

You can preview ‘x’ records by specifying the number in the Source Record Count option in the Data Preview window. To preview the entire dataset, set the Source Record Count value to zero.
