A workflow is the visual illustration of an integration process for automated and iterative execution. It is a process orchestrated to run a sequence of tasks such as running a program, sending an email, executing a SQL query, etc. The tasks are executed according to a predefined sequence, following custom logic that determines what path must be activated under specific conditions. You can also define what happens if a task succeeds or fails, route workflows using Boolean conditions, and nest other workflows or dataflows. Once designed, a workflow can be deployed on the server and scheduled to run automatically at specified times and frequencies.
