I was saddened to learn of the passing of former commissioner and Cecil County’s first County Executive, Tari Moore. I have fond memories of working with Tari during my time as FOP president and came to know her as a dedicated public servant who led with integrity, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to what was best for our community.
On behalf of Cecil County Government and all of our citizens, I extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband, Steve, Matt, Melissa, and the entire Moore family. Tari was a trailblazer who helped forge Cecil County’s path under our new charter form of government, and our community is better because of her leadership and service. She will be deeply missed.
