Morning, all. Now that I am back from my almost two month adventure and settled back in…I wanted to put myself back out there. I am seeking consistent, very part time work in the funeral and death education space. I’m only looking for part time with the opportunity for more hours (if remote) and 2-3 days a week if in person. If you follow me, you are probably aware of all of my offerings in this space. If you are not fully sure what all it is that I do…I’ll explain. I am a death doula in the funeral space, as well as a creative. I care for decedents, getting them ready for their last viewings, but I am not a funeral director. I curate funerals and memorials, with focus on personalization and story telling. I help clients in end of life prepare and personalize their remaining time here, and this is for humans and pets, in person and remote. I hold creative workshops with a heart centered focus on grief and art, both in person and remote. I teach doulas and the public how to use intuition, how to help prepare for death in marginalized communities, and how to hold space for our own mortality. I host creative talks and gatherings around grief and death. I’m a Reiki Practitioner! I host two monthly book clubs around mortality. Additionally, I’ve also been partnering with The Met Cloisters around medieval art and death events. There is more I’m forgetting I’m sure, but that’s the majority of my work.
