      <description>&lt;p&gt;I am a 5th year PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder under the supervision of &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.colorado.edu/faculty/lehmantamara/&#34;&gt;Prof. Tamara Silbergleit Lehman&lt;/a&gt;. My research focuses on creating and implementing security metrics for computer hardware systems.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I obtained my MSc in Electrical Engineering in 2024 and my BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2022 at the University of Colorado Boulder. During my undergraduate degree, I researched applications of VR/AR to lunar robotics under the guidance of &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.colorado.edu/faculty/burns/&#34;&gt;Prof. Jack O. Burns&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;I worked on creating of an open-source, Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) engine for Sandia National Laboratory. My focus was on the AES SBox, the most important step of the AES algorithm. This included implementing multiple designs using Verilog with different levels of countermeasures (masking, thresholding) to be realized on an ASIC prototype. I also studied the different trade-offs (performance, security, area, power) based on state-of-the art implementations to better understand the properties of cryptographic ASICs.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;NASA will return to the Moon to conduct lunar and space science as well as prepare for human exploration missions. NASA&amp;rsquo;s current rover failure response methods use hardware duplicates which are costly and time consuming to assemble. To address this, we developed and assessed a VR digital rover twin in a simulated environment using novel technologies to support lunar robotic missions like FARSIDE in case of assembly failures.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
