  • What kind of job search support do you offer?

    Through our Pathway Program™, we provide all students with career workshops, 1-on-1 career coaching, interview preparation, and more. The Pathway Program™ runs throughout your bootcamp experience and for six months after graduation. Learn more about how we work hard to prepare students for today’s tech jobs.

  • How would you compare the full-time coding bootcamp and part-time coding bootcamp?

    Graduates of both bootcamps will be trained as full-stack software developers. The main differences between the two programs are schedule and structure.

    The full-time coding bootcamp is more of a sprint, with live online classes Monday through Friday, typically between 9 am – 4:30 pm, over a 14-week period. This program is a great match for students who can treat the bootcamp as a full-time job and are eager to start their new tech careers.

    The part-time coding bootcamp is a mix of live instruction (two nights per week) and self-study. This program works well for students who are enthusiastic about becoming software developers but need more flexibility due to work commitments, family obligations, or a preference for learning at a less intense pace.

  • What are the best programming languages for beginners to learn?

    The 2025 Stack Overflow Survey highlights that popular languages continue to dominate the developer landscape: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Java, and Python remain widely used.

    At Tech Elevator, we teach Java, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML/CSS because these are foundational languages that power everything from enterprise systems to modern web applications. These are all great coding languages for beginners, and they set you up well to learn other languages as you progress in your career.

  • Is there demand for software developers in the current tech job market?

    The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projects that the demand for software developers will increase by 15% between 2024 and 2034. But that doesn’t mean software developer jobs are going to stay the same during that decade.

    In fact, we can already see changes happening, and AI is a big reason why. The 2025 Stack Overflow Developer Survey makes it clear that AI tools are now firmly part of the developer workflow. Over 80% of developers now use AI tools, and many have leaned on them to learn new languages or techniques.

    But only 3.1% of respondents say they “fully trust” AI solutions, and just 29% said they “somewhat trust” them. According to respondents, the main frustration is that solutions are “almost right, but not quite right,” which makes debugging challenging and time-consuming.

    When challenges like these arise, developers turn to other people; 75% of respondents said they would ask another person for help when they don’t trust AI’s answers.

    That’s why Tech Elevator emphasizes learning in community. During our beginner coding bootcamps, you’ll build problem-solving and communication skills that AI can’t duplicate. You’ll also learn how to use AI tools, including when to trust them, how to debug carefully, and when to lean on a teammate or mentor for insight and help. This will prepare you for a shifting software development landscape, in which new developers will be expected to use these tools effectively and efficiently.
