Yanbo Xu

I'm a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Princeton University, advised by Prof. Anirudha Majumdar.

Previously, I was a M.S. in Robotics (MSR) student at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Prof. Shubham Tulsiani. I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where I had the pleasure of working with Prof. Chi-Keung Tang, Prof. Yu-Wing Tai, and Prof. Tong Zhang.

Research

My research interests lie in generative modeling and their applications to computer vision and physical intelligence. I aim to develop new paradigms for generative models and build data-driven systems that are physically grounded, capable of capturing the underlying 3D structure and dynamics of the real world.
