Congratulations to Mojave King for being selected 47th by the LA Lakers in the 2023 NBA Draft! Mojave – who played for the @SouthlandSharks in the @nznbl - becomes just the 4th New Zealand-born athlete to be drafted into the NBA, joining Sean Marks, Aron Baynes and Steven Adams

It is with great sadness Basketball New Zealand acknowledges the passing of Coach Doe Williams. He will always be remembered for his infectious smile, great sense of humour and passion for the game. We would like to pass on our condolences to the Williams family. RIP Doe.
