📊 Global unemployment: 4.9% — historically low. But informal employment is 58% of all jobs worldwide, flat since 2015. A job is not enough. #DecentWork means quality, stability, and dignity for all. ➡️More on #SDG8: ow.ly/Z9XX50ZmM5z #GlobalGoals

Investing in youth #skills drives growth, innovation, & economic resilience. As #AI and other tech transform labour markets, we must equip young people with the skills needed for work & life. This means the skills employers need and the ability to navigate uncertainty & change.

It’s 2026 and women earn about 20% less than men on average. Unacceptable. Gaps persist in employment, earnings and leadership roles. At today’s pace, equality in employment could take nearly two centuries. There is no #SocialJustice without gender equality.
