- According to UIL, in light of the Duncanville boys basketball team being stripped of last season's state championship, McKinney will be designated as the 2022 Class 6A state champions. The game will go down as a 2-0 win for @MHSLionsHoops. What a wild development.
- And the District 6-6A girls track and field champions are..... (drumroll) @PlanoRunning! Lady Wildcats compete a wild comeback and capture their 1st district title since the 90s! Plano won the last 5 events to total 127pts and edge Denton Guyer (124pts) and Allen (117).
