In addition to commoditizing models and compressing margins, open weight pushes competition to physical infrastructure: power, data centers, and chips, which they are moving faster on in at least the first two. @fluidstack is fighting back: join us fluidstack.io/jobs

Why does China keep releasing open-weight models? Well, releasing frontier open-weight models commoditizes the closed-weight models of OpenAI and Anthropic, which challenges their businesses, which ultimately causes the splintering of their most valuable asset, their teams.

One picture, from the badge reader to the login. Fluidstack watches the physical and the digital as a single connected story: the systems that run the facility, the networks that move the data, the people who walk through the door, the identities that sign in - all aware of each

3/ What we are building toward is more ambitious still: a security program sophisticated enough to defend the infrastructure behind the most consequential technology of this decade - defensive depth that holds at every layer of the pyramid of pain, from the indicators an

3/ Forecasters writing about the next decade of AI have extended that logic in published thought experiments: covert datacenters disguised as heavy industrial plants, or built underground with exotic cooling to hide their thermal signature from satellites.

4/ Whether those scenarios ever materialize, the assumption underneath them is the right one: actors with that patience and resourcing should be presumed to be probing frontier AI infrastructure today. We operate on that assumption.

1/ The adversaries most capable of reaching frontier AI infrastructure have practically unlimited time, money, and technical depth. The question is not whether they will try - it is whether you can out-adapt them.

5/ There is another layer that is easy to miss: the systems producing the evidence are themselves part of the attack surface. A capable adversary may not need to defeat a control if they can make the control report that everything is normal.

Our latest hackathon winner: RackScout, an AR copilot for the data hall. Put on the headset and the hall annotates itself - a glowing path to the rack you need, checklists pinned to the hardware, racks turning green as they go production-ready.

The usual version of this job is heads-down on a laptop, tabbing between systems, stitching the picture together yourself. RackScout also carries a voice copilot built on Claude that knows which rack you are at and which ticket you are on - guidance stays hands-free while you
