Angular v9 is out! blog.angular.io/version-9-of-a… This has been the hardest and most challenging project most of us have ever worked on. We learned lots of great lessons along the way. I'm so proud of the team and the community that made this release possible. ♥️

The Angular team has pulled off an incredible engineering feat over the last two days. While the impact is visible only at Google, even the OSS community will benefit from it. I'm so grateful and proud of everyone on the team. Y'all rock! ❤️🎉🙃

Today the Angular team is doing a major design review of our plan to make NgModules optional (see our roadmap). If all goes well, we'll do a public RFC soon. While I'm aware of my proximity bias, I can't help but think that the proposed design is brilliant.

How did I not know about github.githistory.xyz until today? Code archeology would be much more popular if we had better tooling baked our our default workflows. VS Code GitLens helps, but this is so much nicer. Demo: hit ⬅️ and ➡️ at github.githistory.xyz/angular/angula…

The last Angular Framework 8.0.0 RC is out with a few more changes to make 9.0 better. We'll let this one cool down over the long weekend and ship it as 8.0.0 on Tuesday. github.com/angular/angula…

Yesterday I tried a fun experiment at the Angular Enterprise Summit. I challenged the room of Angular developers and eng leaders from the cream of the crop corporations from all around the world to share their Angular apps with me and I'd fix them on the spot.

So proud of my team right now! Cloudflare handled the initial spike of traffic for #Eurovision2023 voting app esc.vote literally without breaking a sweat. We barely noticed! All served via Cloudflare Workers JavaScript VM at the edge. Incredible! 🤘🏼
