- THREAD: Today, I’m excited to put forward an appropriation order for $8M to make Boston’s 23, 28 & 29 bus lines fare-free for a 2-year period. Here’s how this program will lay the groundwork for accessible transit in our city:
- The people of Boston are sick of having people outside of Boston telling us what we need.
- If Republicans in Congress want to help make our country safe, I have some ideas for them.

- Today I signed my first ordinance as mayor! It’s an important one that will require Boston to divest from fossil fuel companies & other harmful industries—replacing them with green, socially responsible investments.

- THREAD: The best way for Boston to stay healthy & support our communities is for all of us to get vaccinated. That’s why starting on Jan. 15, we’ll be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter certain indoor spaces in Boston. boston.gov/b-together
