It gets me really annoyed every startup event I go to in Perth ends up turning into "We can't raise money because there is no VC money in Perth". You can't raise money anywhere without a product, customers and/or a track record. Get those things and watch the offers roll in.
I find opening the hotspot screen on the phone is the only reliable way
My 14 year old son has taken over customer support for my side project iOS apps. He built a support site with FAQs, setup a contact form and an email support tool. Kids these days are pretty savvy when you offer them money.
