Tomorrow, a group of people who build things get locked in a room (metaphorically, of course) for two days to see if AI can actually do science—not demo science, real biological reasoning. We're partnering with OWKIN and Amazon Web Services (AWS) on the Rewiring Biology Hackathon in San Francisco. Teams of ML engineers, computational biologists, and agentic builders will extend Owkin's AI Scientist, K Pro, with new MCP tools—things like combining spatial and multi-omics data with the literature to generate real hypotheses. "AI for science" projects often stall on integration. The model isn't really the bottleneck. Getting it to reason across siloed datasets and papers without hallucinating a pathway that doesn't exist—that's the actual problem. Stay tuned to see what they ship. 🚢

It's often someone's job to "watch competitors," and, in practice, that means skimming X once a week and hoping nothing slips through. Instead, in collaboration with One, we wrote up a daily agent loop. The You.com Web Search API pulls fresh launch news, a keyword filter kills the press-release noise, HubSpot tells you whether the competitor is an active deal or a closed-lost account, and Slack gets a formatted alert—only for things you haven't seen before.
