Zeitgeist (launched in 2019) is an online multimedia gallery space for & commissioner of emerging and under-represented artists and thinkers of diverse backgrounds. It commissions & showcases work, alongside the critical, social, and artistic contexts which inform their creation. (Co)commissioned work, and the manner in which it is recorded/captured, is created specifically with online audiences in mind, consciously cultivating an arena of presentation for the sonic and visual contemporary arts, theatre, poetry, and interdisciplinary work that until now has been drastically under-utilised.

Zeitgeist also works with relevant voices in curation roles to develop specifically programmed collections of work designed to give an audience insight into forms of contemporary work.

Zeitgeist is a conceptual project created to explore & expand concepts of online engagement with the arts, challenging us to find new ways to exhibit work online in order to benefit from proximities and inherently flexible methods of performance and recording, and broaden access & inclusivity through a more democratised forum. It is based on a belief that every artist is the exclusive product of their moment, that claims to historical depth are insignificant, and that through curiosity in contemporary issues and how creative minds engage with them, greater engagement in art will be achieved.
