Publishing is real: posts go out on your actual accounts. So every connection is scoped.
You choose the permissions
When you approve, you pick Read, Generate and Publish. Without Publish it can't change anything; without Generate it can't spend credits.
Drafts when you want to check first
Ask for drafts and posts wait on the Posts page in Autoadify until you schedule them. Nothing goes public on its own.

What is the Autoadify MCP server?
It is a Model Context Protocol server at https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp that gives an AI assistant 17 tools for your Autoadify workspace: list connected channels and their posting rules, schedule, publish or draft posts, check their status, edit or cancel scheduled posts, manage your media library, and generate images and videos. Posts it creates appear in your Autoadify calendar like any other.
Which AI assistants can use it?
Chat apps that take custom connectors: Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity and Manus. Coding and agent tools: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw and Hermes Agent, plus VS Code. Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth works.
Can I schedule social media posts from ChatGPT?
Yes. On ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise, turn on Developer mode, add https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp as a custom MCP server with OAuth, and sign in to Autoadify. ChatGPT can then write, illustrate and schedule posts to Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and Reddit.
How do I add Autoadify to Claude?
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, click Add custom connector, paste https://mcp.autoadify.com/mcp, then click Connect and sign in to Autoadify. It works on claude.ai, the desktop and mobile apps, and Cowork.
Do I need an API key?
No. Assistants connect by signing in to Autoadify (OAuth 2.1) and you approve what they may do. API keys are still there for your own code and for clients that can't sign in.
Can it generate images and videos?
Yes. The generate_image and generate_video tools make images and videos into your media library, ready to attach to a post. Models include Nano Banana 2, GPT Image 2, Qwen Image 3, Krea 2 Medium, Krea 2 Medium Turbo, Recraft V4.1 Flash, MiniMax H3, Runway Gen-4.5, HeyGen Video 1. Generation spends Autoadify credits at the same prices as in the app, and failed generations are refunded.
Does it publish without asking me?
Publishing is real: when the assistant schedules a post, it goes out on your actual accounts. Most assistants ask before running a tool that changes something. To check every post first, ask for drafts, or approve the connection without the Publish permission.
Which plans include it?
Pro (10,000 a month (60/min)), Team (100,000 a month (300/min)), Enterprise (Unlimited (1,000/min)). Free and Solo have no MCP or API access. MCP calls and REST API calls share one allowance per workspace; only generation spends credits.
Is this the same as connecting an MCP server to Autoadify's AI agent?
No, it is the reverse. Connecting your own MCP server gives Autoadify's built-in AI Manager extra tools. The Autoadify MCP server lets your own assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, use Autoadify.
