djazairdev wants every Algerian developer to be able to make a first open-source contribution to an active local project. This template makes a project ready for them: beginner issues that are easy to find, clear steps to contribute, a reply within 7 days, and a listing in the djazair.dev Hub.
A new project: click Use this template, then ask a coding agent in the new repository:

An existing project: ask a coding agent in it:

The agent checks the project against the checklist, adds what's missing, and asks before anything public. Everything else is in docs/.
- Pick a project in the Hub, or an issue labelled good first issue here.
- Comment
/takeon the issue: it's assigned to you, and you can start. - Follow CONTRIBUTING.md and open a pull request.
- We reply to newcomers' pull requests within 7 days. A review or a merge may take longer.
- Ask a question

- Suggest an improvement, or 👍 the improvements you want most
- Propose a new project
