Not yet. The whole model runs in the user’s browser, so there is no server to call — that is the privacy design, not a gap. If you want to embed background removal in your own product, developer options are on the roadmap.
The first run downloads the AI model to your browser — about 4.4 MB for the fast model, or 98.5 MB for HQ if you choose it. It is cached after that, so every later image and visit is fast, even offline.
