Questions
What is the Size It Up game?
Size It Up is a free daily size comparison game about your sense of scale. Each round draws a familiar teal object at its real size; you stretch an orange shape until it looks right beside it, then confirm to see the true size and where the number comes from.
Which games can I play?
Five, each with its own daily puzzle and leaderboard: Classic (everyday things, from a credit card to the Burj Khalifa), Cosmic Scale (planets, moons, stars and spacecraft), Prehistoric Giants (dinosaurs and extinct animals beside today's), Kitchen Table (food and kitchenware) and Tiny Worlds (insects, seeds and cells, down to a bacterium).
How is each round scored?
Up to 100 points a round, 500 a day. What counts is the ratio between your guess and the truth, so guessing double is as far off as guessing half. Within 6% scores all 100; twice or half the size scores about 33; five times off scores nothing.
Where do the real sizes come from?
Every answer names what is measured and links to its source: ISO standards and sports rulebooks for everyday objects, NASA fact sheets for space, and museum specimens and published papers for extinct animals. Every object is listed with its size and source under How big is it?
When does a new puzzle come out?
A new numbered puzzle for every game at midnight in your timezone. Missed one? The archive replays any past day.
Can I play more than five rounds a day?
Yes. Free play is unlimited guess-the-size: it deals endless rounds from each game's whole collection. Free play and archive replays don't count toward streaks, leaderboards or Insight.
Do I need an account?
No, anyone can play as a guest. Signing in with Google adds the daily leaderboard, your streak on every device, and Insight, a points balance you can spend in the shop on titles and board themes.
Is SizeItUp free?
Yes. There's nothing to buy with money, and nothing changes your score. Questions or a number that looks off? Write to support@sizeitup.us.
