A new AI step in Windmill returns a typed answer: a choice, a score, or a yes/no with a probability. Not a text blob you parse. Your next step branches on it with a regular Branch, so the flow routes on the model's decision. windmill.dev/docs/core_conc…

Most "agents" are better as a flow with a single AI step. That one step makes the judgment call. Every other step is a typed script with retries and approvals. Deterministic where you can be, AI only where you actually need it. windmill.dev/docs/core_conc…
