Context.dev (YC S26) has become a key part of our data ingestion pipeline at Context7! Yahia Bakour and the team are cracked!

    Founder @ Context.dev (YC S26)

Big news: Context.dev (YC S26) now helps power Context7, one of the most popular MCP servers for AI coding agents. Built by Upstash, Context7 has 63,000+ GitHub stars and has served over 100 million agent requests. It brings current, version-specific documentation into Claude, Codex, Cursor, and other coding agents. That matters because every time a library ships a new release, an agent’s training data gets a little further behind. Context7 helps close that gap by giving agents the right docs when they write code. Keeping those docs fresh takes constant crawling. Context.dev (YC S26) now handles millions of crawling requests every day behind Context7. And my favorite part: Claude handled the integration. “Incredible AX! Claude handled all the setup for me.” - Abdullah Enes Güleş Within minutes, the team was benchmarking our API against their previous crawler and already seeing improvements. An AI agent set up the infrastructure that helps keep its own answers current. If you’re building an API, your next user might be an agent. How easily it can understand your docs and get an integration working matters. Thank you to the Upstash team for trusting us to help power Context7.

  • Welcome Thomas Oomens!

Meet Thomas Oomens, the newest addition to Context.dev (YC S26) :) Previously, he founded a VC backed dating app that’s organized 1M+ dates and operates in 6+ countries. Thomas started coding at 14 and studied computer science at TU Delft, where he met Beer van der Drift. He then went on to found Breeze Social. After exiting Breeze, Thomas decided to take some time off. Luckily, we managed to interrupt that! 10 minutes into our first call, it was pretty obvious we needed him on this team. LFG!

  • It's about time someone rewrote Cheerio in Rust. Meet Rusteerio, a drop-in replacement for Cheerio. Rusteerio is: - 4.5× faster than Cheerio for HTML extraction - 4× more memory-efficient at 16 CPUs - Supports async parsing and parallel extraction without blocking the JS main thread - Passes all 777 Cheerio tests - Zero npm runtime dependencies We built Rusteerio to power Context's scraping infrastructure, and it already makes our large, concurrent scraping workloads faster and more memory-efficient (check out our batch scraping API). Today we're open-sourcing it: npm i rusteerio Check out the code and benchmarks at: Blog: https://lnkd.in/gHqDxK8d Code: https://lnkd.in/gDMVD8NN
