Platform
Detect, alert and inform, in one product
Checks, incidents, on-call and status pages share one data model, so an outage is one incident from the first failed check to the last status update.
Monitoring
Monitor far more than websites
HTTP and APIs, TCP and UDP, DNS, certificates and domain expiry, databases, message queues, email servers, gRPC, Kubernetes and headless-browser scenarios. A check runs from several regions at once, so one bad network path does not page anyone.
- 40 check types, all of them on every plan
- Intervals down to 10 seconds
- Private-location agents for internal services, with no inbound port

Alerting and on-call
Page the right person, once
Related failures are grouped into one incident. On-call schedules decide who gets it, and escalation policies decide what happens when nobody answers.
- Slack, Microsoft Teams, PagerDuty, Discord, Telegram, email, webhooks, SMS and voice
- Rotations, overrides and iCal feeds
- Maintenance windows and check dependencies keep the noise down
Status pages
Tell your users before they ask
Public status pages with sections, uptime history and incident updates. Visitors subscribe by email or follow the Atom feed.
- Your own domain on paid plans
- Uptime and response time per service
- Email subscribers with double opt-in
Included on every plan
Built for the way operations teams work
Distributed workers
Checks run from several regions with lease-based distribution and automatic failover. No duplicate runs, no gaps.
A single binary
One Go binary with PostgreSQL or SQLite. It ships as a distroless container for Docker and Kubernetes, and as native builds for Linux and Windows.
API, CLI and MCP
Everything in the dashboard is in the REST API and the sp command-line client. The built-in MCP server lets AI assistants manage your checks.
Less alert noise
Recurring maintenance windows mute planned work. Check dependencies and groups stop the cascade when an upstream service is the real cause.
One-step imports
Bring your monitors from Uptime Kuma, UptimeRobot, Better Stack or Gatus, then run both side by side until you are sure.
Four languages
The dashboard ships in English, French, German and Spanish. Status pages format dates for each visitor's locale.
Self-hosted
Run it on your own infrastructure
One Go binary. PostgreSQL or SQLite is the only dependency. Free under AGPL-3.0, with unlimited monitors and no feature held back.
# Run SolidPing with SQLite (simplest setup)
docker run -p 4000:4000 -v solidping-data:/data \
-e SP_DB_TYPE=sqlite -e SP_DB_DIR=/data \

Hosted services
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is SolidPing free?
Yes. SolidPing is open source under AGPL-3.0 and self-hosting is free forever with no feature held back: unlimited monitors and unlimited check rate. The hosted service has a free tier of 100 monitors and 5 team members with no credit card, and paid plans start when you need more.
What can SolidPing monitor?
40 check types: HTTP and HTTPS, TCP, UDP, ICMP ping, DNS and DNSBL, NTP, SSL certificate and domain expiry, WebSocket, gRPC, SSH, RDP, FTP and SFTP, email servers (SMTP, IMAP, POP3), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, ClickHouse, Redis, MongoDB), message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT), Docker, Kubernetes, SNMP, SIP, game servers, headless-browser and custom JavaScript checks, plus heartbeat (cron) monitoring.
How do I self-host SolidPing?
One command: the docker run above with SQLite is enough to start. SolidPing is a single binary whose only dependency is PostgreSQL or SQLite, and the documentation covers Docker, Kubernetes, and native Linux and Windows installs.
Is SolidPing an alternative to Uptime Kuma or UptimeRobot?
Yes. SolidPing covers the same ground and adds multi-user organisations, distributed workers and private locations, on-call schedules with escalation, and public status pages. First-party importers bring in your existing monitors. See SolidPing vs Uptime Kuma and SolidPing vs UptimeRobot.
Does it include status pages and on-call?
Yes. Public status pages with sections, per-check uptime and response-time metrics, email subscribers and an Atom feed; on-call rotation schedules with overrides and iCal feeds; and multi-step escalation policies. Alerts go out over Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Mattermost, Matrix, Zulip, Telegram, email, webhooks, PagerDuty, ntfy, Gotify, Pushover, Web Push, and SMS or voice via Twilio.
Where is my data stored on the hosted service?
Account and monitoring data at rest stays in France, on OVHcloud, operated by WEBINGENIA SARL (Paris) under GDPR. The data processing agreement, sub-processor list and security measures are public. Self-hosting keeps every byte on your own infrastructure.
