Most side projects sleep 29 days a month. Their hosting bill doesn't. An internal tool opened twice a month shouldn't cost the same as one that's busy all day. How many sleeping apps are on your card?

Payment providers deliver webhooks at least once. Retries, timeouts, a slow 200: the same event arrives twice. Store the event ID with a unique constraint and skip ones you've seen. Otherwise someone gets two emails, or two refunds.
