I participated in the CloudCannon + Astro challenge, I decided to build Internet Outage Atlas from my article The Days the Internet Dies. It is an archive of major internet outages, covering both the well-known incidents and a few that people forgot fast. Dyn/Mirai, the YouTube BGP hijack, Fastly, Meta in 2021, CrowdStrike, & others. The goal was to make the history of these failures easier to explore on the web.
