It’s nearly that time of year where a talented bunch of UXers, organisers and creative folk bring together a brilliant mix of designers, researchers and digital thinkers under one roof to share ideas and learn from one another. That's right, it's nearly UX London 2026! (and yes, we're the talented team behind it 👋) Pretty much everything we do in our day jobs at Clearleft goes hand-in-hand with organising an event. We've got project management, years of speaking and curation experience, with all the design and UX thinking we can throw at it. And that's why we've been hosting UX London for 17 years! Check out this year's rather impressive lineup 👉 https://lnkd.in/eQTsrejt

We recently had the privilege of working alongside Christina Pagel, a Professor at UCL, on uplifting the design and user experience of the Trump Action Tracker website. The Trump Action Tracker documents how the trajectory and actions of the Trump presidency are aligned with an authoritarian playbook. The work we undertook helps update visitors with latest actions via news stories, bringing data into focus, and makes it easier to download data sets for research or reporting: https://lnkd.in/erTYmWkN

We’re still working our way through all the feedback and comments from #WebDayOut, and we are completely blown away. Thank you to everyone who attended, shared thoughts, asked questions and made the day what it was. The energy in the room, the conversations between talks and the ideas shared on stage all contributed to something really special. It’s a reminder of how valuable it is to step away from our screens, come together and learn from each other once in a while. We’re already thinking about what's next 👀

Oooof, what a day that was! Web Day Out 2026 We welcomed a brilliant bunch of designers and developers for a day of ideas, discussion and practical insight about building for the web, and it was one to remember! A huge thank you to our rather clever speakers for sharing their ideas, and to all of you who joined us. You are what made it awesome. It’s always energising to spend a day with people who care deeply about the web and the work we do. Let's do it all again sometime? Thank you's to Jemima Abu, Rachel Andrew, Aleth Gueguen, Harry Roberts, Manuel Matuzović, Richard Rutter, Jake Archibald, Lola O. and for the amazing photography skills of Marc Thiele 👏

A little look at what to expect at Web Day Out next week 👀 From Rachel Andrew on browser support, to Richard Rutter on web typography, Jemima Abu showing what you can do without JavaScript and Harry Roberts on building with the web. It’s shaping up to be a jam-packed day for people who care about the craft of the web. Alongside them we’ve got Aleth Gueguen, Jake Archibald, Manuel Matuzović, and Lola O. sharing ideas and a few things that might change how you approach your work. If you’re looking for a good excuse to step away from your screen, learn something new, and maybe make use of that training budget before it disappears… 📍 Studio Theatre at Brighton Dome 📅 12 March 👉 https://lnkd.in/eDhiaW2Y

While carrying out an audit for The University of Manchester we occasionally stumble across some weird, wonderful and fascinating work happening behind the scenes, such as this... https://lnkd.in/eTSMwp2p We can't *guarantee* it's just a simulator

Five years after creating a digital design system for Malvern Panalytical, we’ve partnered again to explore new ways to showcase their precision laboratory analytical instruments. Through a focused ideation project, we helped uncover opportunities to better communicate the value, clarity, and innovation behind their products. Great to keep building on a strong foundation together with the team Ian Gowrie, Genevieve Armstrong, Matt Hitches and Andrew Merrell 🙌
