    Hi Guys,

    I’m SO sorry to bother you, but I can’t figure out why my Facebook Share and Facebook MESSENGER Share buttons are suddenly not working right – I guess for the last year or so really? They used to work great like all my other A2A buttons – but not now. Did they deprecate something maybe? Here’s my code – does this look right? Thank you, Stu..:

    a2a_config.templates.email = {
    subject: “${title}”,
    body: “Help me decide.. I am thinking of hiring this awesome party band for our evening. Please let me know what you think! 🙂 :\n${link}”
    };

    a2a_config.templates.facebook = {
    app_id: “”,
    quote: “Help me decide.. I am thinking of hiring this awesome party band for our evening. Please let me know what you think! :-)”,
    hashtag: “#LiveBands, #TheLiveMusicAgency”
    };

    a2a_config.templates.sms = {
    body: “Hey. ${title} ${link}”
    };

    a2a_config.templates.twitter = {
    text: “${title} ${link}”,
    hashtags: “LiveBands,TheLiveMusicAgency”,
    related: “TheLiveMusicAgency,LiveBands,”
    };

    a2a_config.templates.whatsapp = {
    phone: “”,
    text: “Help me decide.. I am thinking of hiring this awesome party band for our evening. Please let me know what you think! 🙂 ${link}”
    };

    Hi Stu,

    It’s tough to tell if the code you posted is valid because the code isn’t in a Code block — just fyi.

    Looking at the website linked from your Profile, your AddToAny template code is perfectly valid.

    Yes, Facebook has generally neglected link sharing and they did deprecate some parameters (quote in particular).

    You probably just want to remove the quote parameter and the second hashtag in your hashtag value (Facebook only accepts one hashtag currently):

    a2a_config.templates.facebook = {
    app_id: "",
    hashtag: "#LiveBands",
    };

    MPat, thanks SO much, particularly for the code block tip – I had no idea, but now I do. 🙂
    I’ll make the change as you suggested.. Thank you for replying, particularly with a useable, pragmatic solution. It’s very much appreciated.
