Israel’s Link to the Rapture

Thousands expect Israel to play a major role in God’s future plan for earth. What is the Biblical evidence?

Many people today consider the restoration of the Jewish nation in Palestine to be a direct and dramatic fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Hal Lindsey’s The Late Great Planet Earth, a phenomenal best seller of the last few decades, and Jerry Jenkins and Tim Lahaye’s Lift Behind, along with Bishop T.D. Jakes declares that the end of the world will come within the lifetime of the generation that saw the founding of the Israeli state in 1948, hereby applying the words of Jesus: “This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” (Matthew 24:34)

Coupled with this fascination with Israel is a novel teaching regarding the return of Jesus, called the “secret rapture.” These books and many other speaks for many today who expect God secretly to take the “church” to heaven prior to the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple on its old site where the sacred Muslim shrine, the Dome of the Rock, now stands. According to this position, after the “church” is “raptured” to heaven, there will be seven years of the worst period of famine, bloodshed, and pestilence ever experienced by man. During this great tribulation the focus will be on God’s dealings with the Jews, who are again given the responsibility for the evangelization of the world.

According to secret-rapture preachers, the battle of Armageddon will climax the end of the seven-year tribulation as the nations of the earth take sides over the future of Israel. When mankind teeters on the brink of incinerating the world, Jesus will return gloriously and save man from self-extinction. At that time Jesus will set up a literal one-thousand-year reign on earth with Jerusalem functioning as the spiritual capital of the world.

Most evangelical periodicals and pulpits teach this view today, and to those who do not know better, it might appear that this prophetic scenario, known as pretribulationism, has been the traditional teaching of the Christian church since New Testament days. Nothing is further from the truth. Be not deceived.. Did the architects of the creation of modern day Israel have any thing to do with the development of the rapture theory? Where did the Rapture theology originate? Is the crisis in the Middle East and the war in the Iraq have anything to do with the erroneous rapture theory? Is there a master conspiracy at work? Gaza relief boat ‘rammed’ by Israeli vessel

An Israeli patrol boat struck a boat carrying doctors and supplies to Gaza early today in the Mediterranean Sea, witnesses and Israeli officials said. CNN correspondent Karl Penhaul was aboard the 60-foot Dignity when the boats collided. It was “very severely rammed” by the Israeli boat, Penhaul said. Also on the Dignity were several human rights activists, including former U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney. full story

A megachurch televangelist like John Hagee who spouts outrageous beliefs and has millions of followers must lead an immaculate personal life to keep his congreg

ation listening to him, right? Wrong. People apparently will follow John Hagee blindly and will not question him even when details of his adulterous personal life are made public.

John Hagee was the leader of the charismatic Trinity Church in 1975 and was the father of two children. John Hagee had an adulterous affair with a woman and admitted to immorality in front of his church. Pastor John Hagee then divorced the mother of his two children and married a younger woman (Diana Castro, now Diana Hagee) from that same congregation. Pastor John Hagee willfully abused his position of trust and power to take advantage of a younger gullible woman and cheat on his wife.

So what happened after John Hagee admitted to cheating and abusing his power? Did he repent and pursue becoming a better person and living a life based on Biblical principles? Did people stop following his ministry? The answers are very obvious. John Hagee married the woman he cheated on his wife with and immediately became the pastor of another congregation- the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio Texas.

John Hagee is more of an agent for the Rothschild/Illuminati cartel than he is  minister of God. 

Pastor John Hagee went on to push his evangelical, speaking in tongues Cornerstone Church into becoming a megachurch that televises his weekly sermons. Nor did he do so for free.

From the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 until the dedication of the new Supreme Court building in 1992, the Supreme Court of Israel was housed in a rented building in Jerusalem’s Russian Compound, originally built as a hostel for Russian Orthodox pilgrims visiting Jerusalem. In 1984, the Rothschild Foundation (Yad Hanadiv) made a formal offer to the Government of Israel to donate a permanent building for the Supreme Court. The offer was gratefully accepted and an architectural competition was held in 1986. The winners, from Israel, were the brother-and-sister team of Ram Karmi and Ada Karmi Melamede from Tel Aviv. The new Supreme Court building was dedicated on November 10, 1992.

The Supreme Court is accessible from several directions. From the south the Knesset passageway leads through the Wohl Rose Garden and connects the Knesset, the legislative branch of government, with the Supreme Court building, the judicial branch. From the north, a pedestrian bridge connects the Central Bus Station to the Supreme Court building. Between them stands the executive branch of government, which consists of various ministries, including the Office of the Prime Minister. From the west, the Dorothy de Rothschild Promenade joins the main thoroughfare with the Supreme Court building. From the east, a footpath through Sacher Park leads to the building.
