The National Finals weekend opens Friday, August 7, with two semifinals featuring the Western, Central, Eastern, and Southern regional champions. Sunday, August 9, brings the third-place playoff followed by the National Final.
The four clubs arrive having battled through months of regional competition in one of the country’s deepest semi-professional leagues.
The host venue is a fitting one. Wallis Annenberg Stadium, made possible by a $5 million lead gift from the Annenberg Foundation, sits on the site of the historic North Athletic Field — home to UCLA Bruins soccer from 1967 to 1999. The 2,145-seat stadium features full grandstand seating, a Daktronics LED video board, and Musco Sports lighting. Drake Stadium with a capacity for 11,000+ fans was built in 1969 and used in the 1984 Olympic games. Both fields utilize natural grass and are regulation FIFA sized pitches.

The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is proud to introduce its Referee Respect Campaign, a league-wide initiative reinforcing the critical role referees play in the game. Match officials are essential to maintaining fairness, integrity, and structure on the field, yet too often they face unnecessary risks simply for doing their job. When frustration is directed at referees, the entire soccer community suffers.
As part of this initiative, UPSL is reaffirming its zero-tolerance stance on referee abuse, misconduct between opposing teams, and any form of racism or discriminatory language at any level of play. These standards align with updated guidance under U.S. Soccer Federation Policy 531-9, which outlines minimum penalties for both physical and non-physical abuse against referees.
