Our team of guides is comprised of professional teachers, life coaches, and administrators with over twenty years of experience in education and over 3000 collectively logged hours of personalized support provided to youth.

Levi Daniels (he/him)

Levi grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, where overcoming everything from dire health to financial struggles instigated a deep-rooted resilience and determination in him to help others. Levi has helped countless students exceed their expectations in subjects they felt they’d never do well in. He has helped teens who felt completely directionless to discover their purpose and pursue it with zest.
 
He obtained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences (magna cum laude) from North Park University (Chicago, IL, USA). He is currently pursuing his Honors Postbaccalaureate degree in psychology at Oregon State University’s E-campus. His thesis is, “The Impact of Mobile Health Applications on the Resiliency, Self-Efficacy and Wellbeing of Youth
 
As a Certified Heroic Life Coach and Heroic Workshop Instructor, Levi integrates scientific principles with time-tested wisdom to empower teens to build confidence, resiliency, and a sense of purpose. He is fully committed to the flourishing of each client he works  with.
 
In his free time, Levi loves to hike, trail run, gym, and have engaging conversations with friends.

Carla Fourie (she/her)

Carla Fourie is honored and humbled to be a tutor with the ACE learning team. She is passionate about teaching, coaching, and tutoring and strives to make a positive difference in each session. Carla earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Dynamics, majoring in Psychology, Political Science, and English, and completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Education in 2017.
 
She has always been passionate about Psychology, specifically child psychology in the context of a classroom, which is why she studied both education and psychology. In 2019, Carla was accepted for her Honours degree in Psychology, which she completed in 2020.
 
Carla has been teaching for seven years in mainstream, special needs, government, and private schools, and she served as a subject head for grades 10 to 12 from 2022 until 2023. Her primary focus has been on child psychology in the classroom context.
 
Apart from teaching, Carla is adventurous and loves the outdoors, running long-distance tracks, and long-distance day hiking. She also loves animals, which led her to adopt two bunnies, three fish, and one cat.

Danielle Bergh (she/her)

Danielle Bergh has worked as an online life coach, learning coach and tutor, honing her skills as facilitator and teacher since 2021. Having graduated with a diploma of Applied Psychology and Counselling from Kelowna College of Professional Counselling and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science majoring in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Cape Town, Danielle has acquired the unique knowledge base that allows her to understand and connect with students from different backgrounds.
 
She believes empathy, creative problem solving and curiosity are the building blocks for success in life. Her approach to teaching and coaching is based on creativity and unconditional positive regard with a focus on building and maintaining a safe environment that students can thrive in.
 
Her hobbies include dancing (mainly hip-hop and salsa), reading (fiction and non-fiction alike) and creative writing. Danielle loves learning something new, remaining teachable herself while encouraging learning in others. She therefore encourages students to share their passions and interests in sessions, allowing students to impart their knowledge as equal participants.

Aneesa Khanyile (she/her)

Aneesa Khanyile holds a Bachelor of Political Science (BPolSci) in Political Studies from the University of Pretoria. During her time at university, she developed a deep appreciation for subjects like history, English, and politics, which continue to influence her perspective and passion for education. She is driven by a desire to contribute to the development of the current and younger generations, believing in the transformative power of learning and mentorship. She is committed to fostering an encouraging environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential.
