ABOUT ACTN:
Always Connected to… Our History
Always Connected Treatment Network (ACTN) is an interdisciplinary therapeutic centre supporting children, youth and adults within the Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon), Greater Hamilton Region (East Hamilton, West Hamilton, Waterdown, Flamborough, Dundas, Stoney Creek) and surrounding communities including Halton Region (Burlington, Milton and Oakville).
As a centralized hub of resources, our services provide virtual and in-person support to individuals and their families through Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychological Services, Psychotherapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy Caregiver Support Programs and more!
Originally founded back in 2015, what started as a small team of two therapists offering mobile services has since evolved into an expansive network of therapists and personalized resources for a wide variety of families and individuals (both with and without a formal diagnosis).
Since opening our centre as Connecting Dots Behavioural Services (CDBS) in 2018, our service model has grown beyond the confines of Behavioural Services and into an interdisciplinary framework that supports the multifaceted needs of our clients and local communities.
As a result, Always Connected Treatment Network (ACTN) was designed as a centralized hub to connect our clients to the resources and support they deserve.
Our passionate team of therapists take a collaborative approach to therapeutic services, service navigation support, funding resources, parental coaching, training and advocacy tools through our close partnerships with various community partners and organizations.
MULTI-DISCIPLINARY APPROACH
Our diverse network of Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Psychologists and Psychotherapists work collaboratively to maintain quality and consistency to best support each client’s needs.
PERSONALIZED SUPPORT
From 1:1 services and small group settings to parental training programs and personalized support, our in-person and virtual services are mindfully tailored to provide each unique client with the resources to thrive.
