「Announcement on the future of the wiki」

From today (8th June 2026) onwards, we will start to wind down wiki operations. Our staff members have been officially exhausted from their responsibilities, though their user rights will be kept. Winding down our operations means that we will be disabling some features to ensure our site remains a safe space in the years to come, even with our reduced moderation capacity.

Discussions, effective immediately, will be disabled. Posts can no longer be viewed.

From 30th June 2026, comments will be removed. After 30th June 2026, neither the comment field nor any comments will be displayed under any article, even if the article had comments before.

Blogs will be disabled, effective immediately. No new blogs are allowed to be created. Existing blogs can still be viewed and edited by everyone. If you'd like to create strategies, consider alternative services like Google Docs.

We'd like to thank you for editing and reading our wiki all for all these years. If you haven't already, be sure to read the farewell letter written by our Wiki Manager, enews here.

Discord Forms Guidelines Rules Staff User Rights Credible Sources List

Please follow these rules when editing or creating articles. Our Wiki Staff have the final say in punishments. You may be blocked for something that is not on the list, but is sufficient to warrant such actions. Loopholing any rules will result in a punishment too.

Note: We have specific guidelines for discussions, you can view those here. The punishments listed may be extended depending on the case.

For clarity, rules are currently in snyc across all the ArenaDev Interwikis, like the The Hybrid Cafe Wiki and the Arena Ballistic Wiki.

The page Rules were last edited on the 31 December 2024.

1) No Underage Users
Case-by-case basis

Please follow all terms of use and guidelines of the wikis respective platforms - such as Miraheze or Fandom policies.

2) No vandalism
2 weeks block

Do not vandalise the wiki. Vandalising includes adding unnecessary song lyrics, posting overly large images or adding falsified information. This can include jokes, or a fake statistic. If you wish to suggest, discuss it instead. If it is obvious that it is vandalism, a block will be issued.

3) No Spamming
3 days block

Examples of spamming include flooding articles or discussions, sending the same message over and over again, or re-uploading files multiple times. Encouraging people to spam is not allowed - this will warrant a warn, that is shorter. Repeats of this action can lead to a warn or a temporary ban.

4) Follow the guidelines
3 day block

When editing, please follow the Project:Style Guide. Examples include using British English over American English, or using the correct terms. These Guidelines help make our wiki readable and accessible, while allowing anyone to contribute.

5) Accuracy
Case-by-case basis

When editing, please maintain a Neutral point-of-view (NPOV) and ensure that all the articles come from verified sources. A 'NPOV' means that content is written objectively and without bias, merely presenting the facts and notable viewpoints of others. no articles should contain not contain articles that favour particular viewpoints. Striving for a neutral point-of-view helps prevent articles from becoming viewpoints and personal talk pages.
Also ensure that articles should contain only material that has been published by reliable sources, such as the developers. For example, no self made lore on the site, with the exception of discussion pages/profiles. Verified sources include but are not limited to the Ballistic Wiki, the ArenaDev Discord Server, and the Roblox website. When editing, you should provide citations as far as possible.
You are also NOT to use any source of artificial intelligence program such as ChatGPT, Bing AI, Google Bard or Midjourney unless prior permission has been obtained. Such content is prohibited on the wiki as it might constitute as plagarism in the form of images, or may be inaccurate when consulting text based AI.

6) Be Civil
Case-by-case basis

Being civil entails remaining polite and assuming good faith when interacting with others, and focusing on the content of edits rather than on personal issues. In its essence, participate in a respectful and considerate way, without ignoring the positions and conclusions of others. If you are caught up in any arguments, please try not to escalate it - and if necessary staff are always here to help. You should not use slurs, and keep swearing to a minimum - so as to respect others.
