Being, Belonging & Becoming.

B3 is a nonprofit that brings people with and without disabilities together through social, educational, and vocational programs. We create spaces of belonging that advance disability justice, allyship, and inclusion.

What Our Community Says.

The disability allyship trainings offered by B3 were eye-opening and examined topics I have never heard about before. Discussions about topics such as ableism have helped me reflect on my own bias while also allowing me the opportunity to learn and make changes.

A great group and a fabulous [life skills] program. Thanks to all instructors for the thoughtful curriculum, kind support, role plays, activities, and advocacy language!

– B3 care partner, Kim

Because of B3, our loved ones are more visible, more appreciated, and most importantly, less isolated and living better lives. How do I express how much that means as a mother?

– B3 Care Partner, Denise

I finally feel like I have a place to be myself”

– B3 member, Adele

I’ve gained valuable allyship skills to better support the disabled community, learning to foster inclusivity and collaborate for meaningful social change.

– B3 member, Grace

B3 has given me a voice. B3 has given me the career I want to follow, public speaking. B3 has prepared me for any job, including a coffee shop. B3 has given me a community where people care about each other. B3 has given me transportation and cooking skills. I am so grateful.”

Tonight, B3 was named the recipient of the distinguished service award from @triangledas. Of course, we had to bring along our ⭐️ networker, Joey to accept the award💼 It’s an honor to be recognized by a peer organization for our innovative approaches to advancing disability justice, allyship, and inclusion. Congratulations to the whole B3 CommUnity— it takes a village! ✨
We had such a lovely morning serving coffee at @carolinafriends for teacher appreciation! B3 members enjoyed chatting with teachers and reflecting on their favorite (and least favorite 🤪) school subjects. We are so grateful for teachers and all they do to create inclusive pathways to opportunity.

In today’s Arts EMPOWER class, we learned about disability justice principle, “Collective Liberation” — or in other words, working together across our differences to remove barriers faced by people with disabilities. Access benefits everyone!
We did a fun obstacle course that required teamwork, putting our learning into action! Then, we did paint by number 😍

We were honored to provide a Disability Allyship training to the @extraordinaryventures Thrift Store team today. The session covered core allyship principles, respectful disability etiquette, and practical applications of universal design in the workplace.

Through real-world case studies, participants worked through common scenarios and developed solutions grounded in empowerment, inclusion, and accessibility.
