Delete Your Profile
You can permanently delete your profile on BE HIGHLIGHTED. Deleting your account will delete all of the content you have created. It will be completely irrecoverable.
Steps:
1. Log in to https://behighlighted.com/
2. Hover over your profile picture on the top right hand side and then click on Settings from the drop down menu.
3. From the settings menu, click on the ‘Delete Account’ TAB.
4. Click the check box ‘ I understand the consequences’, then click the Delete Account button.
Add A Profile Photo (And Cover Image)
It is necessary for each user of Be Highlighted to add a profile photo. Follow the steps below to add your photo.
Steps:
1. Log in to https://behighlighted.com/
2. Hover over your profile picture on the top right hand side and then click on Profile from the drop down menu.
3. From the profile menu, click on the ‘Change Profile Photo’ TAB.
4. Drag on the corners of the photo selection tool above the photo to select the area of the photo to be displayed
5. Click the ‘Crop Photo’ button to complete
6. Click on View Profile TAB to see the end result.
7. To add a cover image, click on the ‘Change Cover Image’
Edit Your Profile
Please complete your profile so that others can get to know you. There are lots of places for you to be descriptive and this gives others a chance to understand you better as a person. Spend some time to complete this and also keep it up to date as seasons chance in your life.
Steps:
1. Log in to https://behighlighted.com/
2. Hover over your profile picture on the top right hand side and then click on Profile from the drop down menu.
3. From the profile menu, click on the ‘Edit’ TAB. You can edit your first name or last name here.
4. Click on the ‘About’ button to edit your profile details.
5. Click the save button at the bottom of the screen (You will need to scroll down)
Browse Members / Advanced Search
To browse current members, click on the browse members menu. Once this page is open, you can use the ‘Advanced Search’ feature, or just browse through all members by scrolling. On a desktop or laptop, the advanced search feature is on the right hand side. It allows you to filter your search by Gender, Age range and location. This is a great way to narrow the results to people that match you best.
Steps:
1. Log in to https://behighlighted.com/
2. Click on the ‘Browse Members’ menu. (Desktop)
3. Or Mobile view, scroll down past the members list to find the advanced search. (Mobile)
Interact With Members (Add Friend / Private Message / Block / Report)
Browse members and use the advanced search to find someone that you would like to talk with. Pray about it! If you decide to strike up a conversation, follow the steps below. You can also add someone as a friend, block unwanted contact or report someone who is breaking the terms and conditions of the site.
Steps:
1. Log in to https://behighlighted.com/
2. Click on the ‘Browse Members’ menu and filter your results using the advanced search.
3. Click on the members profile to view the member. Choose the relevant action.
Unblock a Member
If you accidentally blocked someone and you would like to undo this, don’t worry, it’s quite simple.
Steps:
1. Log in to https://behighlighted.com/
2. Hover over your name on the top right hand side and then click on the ‘Settings’ menu item after the menu drops down.
3. Click on the ‘Block Members’ TAB. Click on the word ‘Unblock’ next to the person you wish to allow you to view your profile again.
Deactivate / Suspend My Account
If you start dating and would like to temporarily suspend or deactivate your account. Your data is still stored on the system but your profile is no longer publicly visible. You can reactivate your account at a later time if you need to.
