Blade Shooter has become much more popular than the Dart Monkey, which is the main "versatile budget" option, for a cost that carries much more. Instead of outright nerfing Blade Shooter, we have focused on rebalancing Tack's pierce crosspaths as a steady pierce option for every Tack Shooter. Blade Shooter will remain a very helpful budget group popper, just more investment needed to actually carry the defense.

Crossbow Master sits comfortably as an easy-to-use T5 but struggles a bit too much more than it should. We're trying an increase to damage to see if this helps improve its mid-game reliability without tweaking other things. Sharp Shooter still misses targets more than it should, so that is getting improvements too.

The Lead is used decently in matches but it and most of its family struggle to be used over other Bloons. The main philosophy here is to make its weak brethern more resistant to common one-shots just like the Camo Lead.

Spikeopult's slow speed and relatively low lifespan limits the bounce mechanic from really shining, without changing Juggernaut the lifespan is increasing. Crossbow Master is in a tough situation as it's meant to be a cheap introductory T5 that's all-around good but has major weaknesses; it fulfills its role very well, but without overleaning its power we're changing up some values to ensure it does that role more efficiently.

Dart is in a sweet position right now, however to smoothen out crosspathing use cases, we're upping the lifespan on projectiles on bottom crosspath to improve use cases on Juggernaut especially.

  • Long Range Darts now grants +25% projectile lifespan to all its projectiles.
  • Enhanced Eyesight now grants +25% projectile lifespan (+50% total) to all its prpjectiles. Also affects subsequent upgrades.

Crossbow Master at its core is supposed to be a simple easy-to-use but limited power T5 with multiple standard weaknesses. It is receiving some changes to reinforce this but carry a bit better going into late-game, resulting in similar DPS but generally the same weaknesses as before.

DSI bloons update

Last weekend, I had edited the bloons DSI editor article because it was a stub, and had little to no info due to how obscure it was. This has now been changed as I have gotten a hold of bloons DSI. I also have Bloons Td 4 and also will need to inference that aswell into the mix of DSI bloons games alongside Bloons TD for the DSI. MOAB Glue has always been heavily middle-focused, Glue Soak never "soaked" MOAB-class Bloons, and while it's intuitive if it does soak them, too much behind-the-scenes problems have occurred for mutators soaking blimp layers, so we've opted for a safer way to make top crosspaths for MOAB Glue and Relentless more feasible and versatile. Super Glue's top crosspath also seemed far less desirable in general due to the threat of late-game being more of a reason to use the Super Glue, and pierce feeling more impactful for most situations, so we've topped it up with a damage buff and extra slowdown potential.

If Towers Had 4th Paths

Hello, fellow travelers. Welcome to a series that will form a long-awaited game called Bloons TD 7. One of the main features is being able to crosspath monkeys to 3-3-3-3. Tsar Bomba now has strong high-skill gameplay that we enjoy, but it stands out a little too much without considering damage type weaknesses, so the bombing run is switching to Explosive while also buffing its Boss and Ceramic damage as it currently is the Ugly Ducking of T5 Aces in Boss Events, also allowing one-shotting of Fortified Super Ceramics in CHIMPS settings. The darts start to fall off on the middle path from the T4, so damage is going up on those upgrades. There are very few real countermeasures to Bolstered Bloon, leading it to becoming an oppressive card against most decks during early-game. Ability ideas for other paths

I think that adding abilities for the top and bottom paths would make towers more balanced. Here's a list of ability ideas for the top and bottom paths in BTD6:


  • 1 Dart Monkey
  • 2 Boomerang Thrower
  • 3 Bomb Shooter
  • 4 Tack Shooter


  • Top path: Ball Drop
    • Juggernaut (Tier 4): Drops a gigantic bouncy spiked ball on the track lasting for 10 seconds, dealing 4 damage to each bloon.
    • Ultra-Juggernaut (Tier 5): Gigantic spiked ball now lasts for 20 seconds and splits twice into 6 juggernaut balls, dealing 10 damage.
  • Bottom path: Enragement
    • Sharp Shooter (Tier 4): Attacks twice as fast and lands a critical hit every 5 shots. Also can pop any bloon type.
    • Crossbow Master (Tier 5): Attacks 4x as fast and lands a critical hit every 2 shots. Critical hit damage doubled to 160.

The Sniper as a slow rate, high damage is a neat design that is sadly too expensive in many cases to be worth keeping compared to other 3 Gold options like Triple Shot. At 2 Gold, it should fare better in some situations compared to same-cost options like the Mortar and Tack.

Similar to Juggernaut, the range crosspath for Really Big Bombs will now offer greater focused knockback, as the middle crosspath is usually too good to pass up in the primarily stall upgrade path. New Best Strategy (BTDB2)

This Blog was made during Version 3.3. For all players that want to start pushing trophies here is the exact thing you need! During this blog I will cover an easy and effective strategy for the current version of BTDB2.

The strategy in question is using:

-Wizard Monkey

-Ninja Monkey

-Boomerang Monkey

This strategy revolves around ninja and wizards good MOAB damage and boomerang's great normal Bloon defence. The strategy is best used with these specific cross paths:
