Is BoxCart Free really free?
Yes. BoxCart Free is a fully working click & collect plugin for one location, with basic time slot booking, bank transfer, and cash payments. Free forever, no ads, no nags, no strings. Install it from the WordPress.org plugin directory.
What happens when my Pro license expires?
Your plugin keeps working exactly as it is — you don't lose any features or data. You just stop receiving new updates and email support until you renew. Renewals come at a 30% discount.
Can I upgrade later?
Anytime. Install Free first, try it out, and if you need Pro features (Stripe, multi-location, reports, etc.), upgrade in place. Your data, products, and settings are preserved.
Do I need WooCommerce?
No. BoxCart is completely standalone. It works on any WordPress site with any theme. If you already have WooCommerce installed, BoxCart won't conflict with it.
Can I use BoxCart for delivery orders?
Not yet. BoxCart is currently designed for click and collect (collection) orders. A delivery mode add-on is on the roadmap.
What payment methods are supported?
Free: bank transfer and cash on collection. Pro adds Stripe (card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna, PayPal, Afterpay/Clearpay). 11 currencies supported. You can enable any combination.
Is BoxCart GDPR compliant?
BoxCart self-hosts all fonts (no external requests to Google), includes optional full data deletion on uninstall, and stores only the customer data necessary to process orders.
Do you offer refunds?
Pro includes a 7-day free trial with no credit card required — try everything before you pay. After purchase, if you hit a genuine issue we can't resolve in support within 14 days, get in touch and we'll review it in good faith.
