Welcome to BroBoard. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BroBoard website and services located at broboard.co (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for current and prospective members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and other interested parties. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User-Submitted Content

The Service lets you post content such as forum messages and contractor reviews ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant BroBoard a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. Reviews and forum posts must reflect your honest, good-faith experience. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute job-call data, recordings, or other Service content without our written permission.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service or any related infrastructure.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law or third-party right.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your IBEW affiliation.

6. Job Call Data

BroBoard aggregates job-call information from union halls and their published sources. We work hard to keep this data accurate, but we make no guarantees about its completeness, timeliness, or correctness. Always verify any opportunity directly with the relevant local before making employment decisions.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

The BroBoard name, logo, and all software, design, and original content of the Service are owned by BroBoard and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including a violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account by contacting us.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the information provided will be accurate.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BroBoard and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
