An Academy, Not A Course.

Most AI education teaches you to use tools. We teach you to build systems. The difference matters — tools get replaced, but engineering judgement, system-design instinct, and the ability to ship production AI compound over time.

BuildrLabs runs intensive, cohort-based programmes inside Hatch Works — Sri Lanka’s leading tech and startup hub. Every cohort is in person. Every instructor is actively working in the field. Every programme ends with something real in your hands.

Practitioner-led instruction

Our instructors build AI systems commercially, every day. Not academics. Not career trainers.

Two deployed systems

A solo agentic app at Week 8 and a production multi-agent system at Week 16. Both live. Both yours.

A curriculum that evolves

Updated each cohort based on what hiring teams need right now — not what was useful three years ago.

Embedded in the Hatch ecosystem

In-person access to Sri Lanka’s most active tech and startup network — from day one, not after graduation.

We Teach You To Master A Moving Target.

Whether you write code or run teams, there’s a programme built for where you are right now.

Our Instructors Are Still Doing The Work.

They haven’t retired into teaching. They’re engineering AI systems in production, running infrastructure that can’t afford to fail, and teaching the next generation because they genuinely want to.

You’re Not Just Joining A Programme. You’re Joining A Building.

BuildrLabs runs inside Hatch Works — Sri Lanka’s leading tech and startup hub. The founders, engineers, and operators you meet here aren’t future connections. They’re your peers from day one.

  • In-person Saturday sessions at Hatch Works, Colombo
  • Access to the Hatch startup community throughout the programme
  • Priority introductions to our partner companies after graduation

FAQ · Agentic AI Bootcamp

What Builders Need To Know About The Agentic AI Bootcamp

These answers are about the 16-week Agentic AI Bootcamp (Cohort 1, May 16, 2026). For the Applied AI Bootcamp aimed at non-technical professionals, see that programme’s page.

How is the Agentic AI Bootcamp different from an online course? +

You show up in person, work alongside a cohort, and ship two real production systems by the end. Online courses give you content. The Agentic AI Bootcamp gives you a portfolio, instructor connections, and a Demo Day in front of hiring companies.

Who is the Agentic AI Bootcamp for? +

People who want to build production AI systems, not just use them. Fresh graduates, A-level students, career-changers, and working developers who want to specialise in agentic AI. If you want to apply AI in a non-technical role rather than build it, our Applied AI Bootcamp is the better fit.

What are the career pathways after the Agentic AI Bootcamp? +

Three tracks share the same core 16-week curriculum: AI Engineer (build and deploy LLM-powered apps), Automation Engineer (design multi-agent workflows), and AI Product Builder (ship AI products on cloud infrastructure). You specialise through your Capstone 2 project in the back half.

I've never coded in my life / no IT background — can I enrol in the Agentic AI Bootcamp? +

Coding experience is required for this bootcamp — basic Python or JavaScript is enough. If you don't have it yet, learn the basics before Cohort 1 starts on May 16, 2026 (free intro courses on Codecademy or freeCodeCamp work). WhatsApp +94 76 925 6780 or email [email protected] and we'll help you map a prep plan. (If you want an AI programme that doesn't require coding, see the Applied AI Bootcamp.)

I do coding for a living and have shipped multiple deployments — will the Agentic AI Bootcamp improve my skills? +

The Agentic AI Bootcamp moves you up the AI stack rather than re-teaching what you already know. The first weeks (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG) give formal grounding for things experienced devs pick up ad-hoc. The back half — LangGraph, CrewAI, MCP servers, dual-memory architectures, production observability for LLM apps — is genuinely new territory for most working engineers.

How much time per week does the Agentic AI Bootcamp require? +

4 hours in-person on Saturdays (9am–1pm) at Hatch Works, Colombo, plus 6–8 hours of weekly self-study and project work. Intensive by design. Total: ~10–12 hours per week over 16 weeks.

What is the Priority Placement Pathway? +

A structured ramp to Demo Day — the final session of the Agentic AI Bootcamp where you present your production project to our partner companies who are actively hiring. Includes priority access to those partners plus coaching to convert. Eligibility: 80% attendance, all assignments, all projects completed.

Are jobs guaranteed at the end of the Agentic AI Bootcamp? +

No. What we guarantee is your place in front of hiring decision-makers at Demo Day, plus the preparation to convert. Eligibility: 80% attendance, all assignments, all projects completed.

What's the refund policy for the Agentic AI Bootcamp? +

Full refund if you withdraw by the end of Day 1 of Cohort 1, no questions asked. After Day 1, all payments are non-refundable.

What happens after the Agentic AI Bootcamp ends? +

Week 16 ends with Demo Day. Eligible students enter the Priority Placement Pathway — priority introductions to our partner companies, interview prep, and placement coaching. Community access is included for all graduates.

Is corporate invoicing available for the Agentic AI Bootcamp? +

Yes — for employer-sponsored students. Email [email protected] to arrange.
